Reflection
I chose this topic because I admire animals. Animals live their lives wild and freely and yet still uphold a special balance that keeps us all alive, from the tiniest ant to the largest whale. I feel sympathy towards animals because in many ways I see a reflection of us, of who and what we are, and we are animals ourselves. I spent a good two weeks worth of time getting this ready to present to you today. The process was long and tedious but well worth the final product. I will admit some parts are much more elaborated on than others. When conducting research I felt that I had man sources to choose from, considering that my topic was rather broad. When writing papers I would occasionally come into conflict with what was the appropriate material for my issue. In the end I found that once I had gathered my research it was easier to write. Honestly I felt that I did not manage my time efficiently enough or else the parts I did not elaborate in as much would have been much better. My main goal was to have everything completed before the day of presentations, and I believe I succeeded in that. I challenged myself to try to put as much important information as possible without going over or falling under the appropriate limit. Besides my not managing my time efficiently, I feel there werent any real challenges to my issue of which I was already well aware of. I would like my audience to know that was I tried my best to cover as much material on my issue as I could, I encourage them to seek further knowledge and make themselves more aware towards the plight of wildlife everywhere, no matter how big or small. I would give myself a B for covering plenty of content but inefficient management of time. I feel I have mastered my writing skills a little better after this project, I still need to work on my time management. I am most proud of my finished product; I spent a good amount of time adjusting things here and there to make it look good. I tried researching from PDFs, but most of my information came from individual articles and ect. I advise anyone taking the fire project next year to manage your time wisely. With that being said, this is my project and I hope you have learned as much from it as I have.
